1Q: Will regular cleaning shorten the life of my carpet?
Regular cleaning will help prolong the life of your carpets by removing harmful dirt and grit, which sticks to the carpet fibres. Vacuuming removes some, but a lot can only be released by a cleaning process. Our process also removes germs and bacteria and does not leave any sticky residue.
2Q: How long will my carpets take to dry?
It depends on the depth of carpet pile, type of carpet and how dirty it was in the first place, but usually between 2-4 hours. If the carpet is to be used immediately we can use a drier. Upholstery usually takes longer to dry at around 12 hours.
3Q: Will I have to move furniture?
Small items must be moved away such as toys and small furniture etc. We can move some larger items, but if you let us know before we can help with this. Some large items of furniture which do not normally move or require moving, such as wall units etc can be left in situ for the cleaning process.
4Q: How much will it cost?
Sometimes less than the hire of a machine! We can go on approximate sizes for most jobs, but we can also call to give a quote. We give discounts for empty houses where all carpets are to be cleaned. Please note: There is a minimum call out charge for single carpets, but multiple carpets are discounted.
5Q: What stains can be removed?
Most stains including most coffee, tea, oil, make-up and wax can be removed, but certain things may have permanently stained your carpets. We cannot guarantee to remove all stains, but we can advise before cleaning your carpet.
